Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1955 Ford CROWN VICTORIA recalls can be found in this database. Additional Description: 1955 Ford Crown Victoria that has been tastefully restored into a stock looking mild restomod in the old school American Graffiti style. Built in San Jose when new and always lived out west until last fall. The build on the car is very well done on a laser straight rust free body. Very nice black paint and tons of like new chrome. Powered by a late model Ford 302 V-8 with an Edelbrock carb and 5 speed manual transmission with power brakes & old school manual steering (like the good old days). Nicely redone interior following the original patterns with added vintage air conditioning & aftermarket stereo. Some of the added details include smoothed bumpers (no bumper bolts showing), all Ford script removed, hood nosed, trunk shaved with power release, door handles removed with door poppers, new tinted glass & dual exhaust. No heater or windshield wipers (apparently it never rains or gets cold out west). This car shows excellent craftsmanship & attention to detail during it's restoration. Would be very hard to duplicate at the $34995 price. Contact Ed or Deb at Shine On Auto Sales 111- 124th Ave Shelbyville, MI 49344 (two69) six72-2102.
