Major Options / Build:

Additional Description: 1965 Ford Thunderbird. This car is beautiful. Im unsure of the mileage and believe its a 390. The interior is in excellent condition. Paint is almost perfect. There are a couple of small paint chips due to driving and careless people. New quarters, trunk done, exhaust new, new chrome bumpers, lots of parts already purchased and not installed yet. I still have the new ford distributor if you like the original. It has many new parts: new valve covers, HEI ignition with new wires, shocks front and back, strut rod bushings, extra rear shocks, etc. I put the extra in the pictures. The tires in the pictures are NOT on the car. Those were dry rotted and now have brand new Blackwall tires. Car runs well. I have driven a little. Drove it from Macon with bad bushings that I replaced. If you are looking for a car that has minor things to address but a great start, you will want to see this. Minor things that I know of: some windows don't go up or down. All did when I got the car, so the change is recent. There is no water hose going to the heater core. This was like it when I got it. That may be considered more major than minor, but I want to make it known. Overall, this car is a looker and would be great for the right person. It is NOT an AC car. Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1965 Ford THUNDERBIRD recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1965 Ford THUNDERBIRD problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.
