Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1956 Ford CROWN VICTORIA recalls can be found in this database. Additional Description: 1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria - 292ci "Thunderbird Special" YBlock V8 - 3Speed Automatic Transmission - Aftermarket A/C - Tidy Interior - (Please note: If you happen to be viewing this vehicle on a website other than our main website, it's possible that only some of our many photographs of this car are presented due to website limitations. To be sure you access all the photographs, please go to our main website: Garage Kept Motors.) We're happy to present this handsome example of a mid-50's Ford. It's a beautiful car with awesome styling touches throughout. The exterior features a chrome strip that runs from the tops of the front fenders, across the doors, to the rear of the car ending at the tail lights. Exhaust exits integrated into the rear bumper, rear fender skirts, and the recognizable Ford round tail lights are other styling cues. The absence of a "post" or B-Pillar allows you to roll all windows down and have an open feel. The car is finished in a classic two-tone '50's color scheme of white and turquoise. The paint is glossy, even and bright. There are a couple flaws in a few small places in the paintwork, as it looks as though the car was restored and repainted quite some time ago. Trim and brightwork show very well, and all trim is where it should be. Body panels line up as they should. This is a polished, nicely finished car. The exterior color scheme carries from the exterior to the tidy interior. Two tone turquoise and white seats front and rear really pop thanks to contrasting navy blue carpeting. The dashboard features a push button radio, a tidy instrument cluster, and neatly integrated aftermarket vents for A/C. Under the hood is a 292ci V8 that has been rebuilt to original specs. Just as it left the factory, a 4 bbl carburetor sits atop the intake manifold of the optional "Thunderbird Special" 292ci Y-Block. Cranking out 200 horsepower and 289 lb/ft of torque, the Y-Block provides plenty of power to get this classic down the road at comfortable speeds. A 3-speed automatic transmission handles gear selection. This handsome Ford classic features the sleek styling of a classic sports coupe with many cues carried over from the Thunderbird. This example is a polished, nicely finished car throughout. Be sure to check out all the photos and video on our main website: Garage Kept Motors. Call if interested or e-mail with any questions.
