Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 2018 Porsche 911 recalls can be found in this database. Additional Description: The ultimate iteration of the 991 generation 911 the GT2RS among the most intense Porsche road cars ever made. Rear wheel drive and turbocharged to 700 horsepower the car is a track-oriented testament to what the companys GT division is capable of doing at its most unconstrained. The car makes extensive use of carbon fiber and magnesium particularly when equipped with the optional Weissach package which adds carbon fiber roof and exterior trim (fender vents front and rear mirrors window triangles) to the already carbon fiber fenders and deck lids of the standard car. The Weissach package also adds magnesium wheels and carbon fiber sway bars all of which reduce the cars weight in all by approximately 30 kilograms. The resulting performance is absolutely mind-bending and the car held the Nurburgring production car record following a 6:47 lap set in 2017. This particular example was ordered in the stunning paint to sample shade of Vesuvio and has been fitted with a rear wing delete kit which makes the car much more subtle in appearance. It is a one-owner car which has covered fewer than 1850 miles from new. Originally supplied by Carlsen Porsche in Redwood City California it has remained in Northern California its entire life. Original options beyond the paint include the $31000 combination of Weissach package and magnesium wheels leather/alcantara interior with grey stitching extended range fuel tank front axle lift luggage net light design package floor mats Bose stereo black leather shifter and steering wheel alcantara seat belt outlet trims leather/alcantara door trims leather dash aluminum pedals dimming mirrors with rain sensor Sport Chrono LED headlights alcantara center console lid with crest alcantara visors leather steering column cover illuminated carbon fiber door sills and leather center console for a total MSRP of $356080.
